一、文化全球化

全球化是文化全球化的前提，經濟全球化是文化全球化的基礎。文化是指一個國家或地區及其民族在社會歷史發展過程中所創造的物質文化和精神文化的總和。近年來，文化全球化與文化民族性和文化多元化的關系成為國內學者關注的焦點。美國語言學家拉多指出：“我們不掌握文化背景就不能教好語言，語言是文化的一部分，因此，不懂得文化的模式和準則，就不可能真正學習語言。”在大學英語寫作教學過程中，培養學生文化全球化意識，對提高學生的英語寫作能力極其重要。Cortazzi M和Jin L指出：“了解文化差異，意味著了解另一文化群體成員，包括他們的行為、期待、觀點和價值觀，并試著了解他們做事的理由。”因此學生需要了解中英文在語篇，語句結構和意識形態的特質，從而創建與大學英語寫作相關的語篇圖式知識，語句表述模式和文化多元化意識。

二、調查問卷分析

本次調查對象是武漢科技大學2015級244名本科生，學生來自物理，化工，計算機，城市建設，管理，冶金等不同專業。調查形式是問卷，問卷54個題，其中4個開放式問答題。調查問卷發送244份，收集有效問卷238份，問卷從三個方面對大學生英語寫作情況進行調查。

（1）學生英語語篇組織能力

32.8%學生不熟悉議論文，記敘文，說明文的文體特征；31.7%學生在寫作過程中不會套用現成的模板；10.8%學生動筆之前沒有思考如何組織觀點；44%學生寫作文之前會做一些筆記，記下要包括的觀點或者關鍵詞；20%學生表示有足夠的素材進行寫作。

（2）學生英語寫作時的遣詞造句

關于寫作的用詞和語法，58%學生在寫的時候會注意語法是否正確：60%學生認為很難選擇恰當的詞語來遣詞造句；84.8%學生會盡量想出別的句子來表達同樣的意思；49.2%學生不會寫完了再回頭思考，尋找合適的詞。關于作文修改時關注的重點，56.7%學生修改時主要關注文章的內容和意思的表達；54.8%學生修改時主要關注語法，錯別字和標點；34.6%學生修改時主要關注文章的結構。

（3）學生的中英文思維

62.8%學生寫作時大多數時候用中文構思并造句，然后翻譯成英文；57.7%學生寫作時主要用中文構思，但用英文遣詞造句：15%學生寫作時主要用英文構思并遣詞造句。

三、教學建議

（1）重視英語語篇教學

根據調查數據，大部分學生不了解典型文體的語篇結構和特征。中英文篇章的組織有鮮明的特征：英語篇章是“直線型”的而漢語篇章是“螺旋型”的；西方人習慣于直線式思維方式，闡述觀點時喜歡直截了當，把話題放在最前面，以引起聽者或讀者的注意而中國人習慣于以直覺、具體和圓式為特征的思維方式。學生英語寫作文體單一，英語應用文練習不足，英語實際寫作能力不足，不熟悉英語不同文體特征和寫作框架結構。學生英語寫作是為了完成教師課堂作業或者通過英語考試，學生平時很少或者基本沒有自覺的英語寫作練習。學生英語寫作是應試作文，學生的寫作對象是閱卷教師，所以學生會通過背誦英語范文或者英語考試作文模板來提高英語作文水平。英語寫作教學需要增強英語語篇教學，讓學生了解熟悉英語不同文體的特征以及英語寫作的典型框架結構。

（2）改進英語詞匯語法教學

問卷表明學生對修辭和寫作規范等方面的知識儲備不足。英語屬于印歐語系，而漢語屬于漢藏語系，兩種語言相差懸殊：英語結構緊湊而漢語結構相對松散：英語的句子由各種不可缺的連接詞銜接而成，而漢語的句子少用甚至不用連接詞仍行文流暢；英語句子中主謂結構鮮明構成全句的主干，其它修飾、限制、補充等附加成分構成主干上的旁支，構成一種“多枝共干”的樹型結構，然而漢語句子屬于線型結構，是以詞序或語義為中心。漢語句子沒有主謂框架限制，也沒有謂語動詞和非謂語動詞之分，可以幾個動詞連用，或幾個名詞性短語并列。

學生寫作時會關注語法是否正確，能寫簡單結構的句子，但不能完成復雜結構句子，不習慣用連接詞，語句間邏輯不清楚或者混亂。學生不會根據語境選擇恰當的詞語，存在詞語語用錯誤，用詞單一無變化，書面語口語混用。教師需要改進傳統的詞匯語法教學，重視詞語的使用語境。教師可以采用各種練習使學生熟悉詞匯的語境和注重語句的連接。

（3）增強學生文化全球化意識和批判能力

調查數據顯示僅有15%左右學生用英文構思并寫作，60%以上的學生用中文構思。學生作文的中文思維是造成學生作文中國人能看懂，但外國人看不明白的主要原因。語言與文化相互依賴、相互影響。語言是文化的體現形式之一，也是文化的重要載體，對文化的傳承起著舉足輕重的作用；文化制約著語言，文化的性質內涵決定了在此文化背景下的語言的表現方式。要理解語言必須先了解語言所承載的文化，反過來，深刻了解某種文化就能進一步加深對其語言的理解，有利于更加準確地運用其語言。英語寫作教學時教師多做語句訓練，學生寫作主觀性強，不做寫作素材收集和調查。學生作文內容空洞，千文一面，內容重合性高，沒有鮮明的個人觀點，喜歡喊口號。另外，學生缺乏中國文化向西方傳播的意識，文化敏感性不強，沒有批判意識和質疑精神。英語教學需要增加中西方文化文本，教學中可以做同一議題下多角度文本寫作，增強學生文化全球化意識和提高學生的獨立思考能力。

Our class wants to hold an English Corner. I made a survey to see how my classmates think about it. Most of them think it is a good idea， but 30% of them don’t.
